Garrett Prosofsky

Partner
After a hockey career that took Garrett all over Canada, the United States and Germany, he made his way back to the steel industry in which he grew up. In 2009, Garrett moved his young family back to Saskatoon and began work with Saskatoon Metal Mfg. He started out in the shop learning the industry – from running the forklift, how to break & bend metal and learning how to weld and fabricate miner boxes. Garrett then attended SIAST and graduated with a diploma as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist. After his schooling, he joined Ram Steel Ltd and worked in the field to gain a good understanding of the iron worker trade. As the company grew, Garrett moved into the office and took on the project management roll. One year later, he became a partner and is now the head of our business operations.
